I am very excited to announce the first Hoosier Horseman Clinic will be June 21st at 7:00 pm at the HCSC Grounds. (Normally they will be scheduled the 2nd Monday of the month but due to conflicts this one is on a different Monday.) The first clinic will be a Soccer Clinic facilitated by Lisa Hamm. Lisa is from Knightstown, she owns/operates Castle Creek Arabian Farms where she breeds, raises and trains award winning Arabians. Lisa is also a music teacher at Anderson Academy in Anderson, IN and a member of the Henry County Saddle Club. The soccer clinic will feature drills, groundwork and tasks to allow your horse to become more social, confident and focused….teamwork between you and your horse will develop . Horse Soccer also serves as an excellent training method for both horse and rider, since the players are so focused upon the drills, task & game, learning is occurring while experiencing something very important…FUN!! The clinic will end in a rousing game of soccer. Clinic is free to all members of the Henry County Saddle Club, if not a member the admission is the price of membership to the club.
Please R.S.V.P. via the Contact Us Page on Website. SOCK IT TO ‘EM!! Thank you, Ruthann Miller

HENRY COUNTY SADDLE CLUB 1959 - 2010
The Henry County Saddle Club grounds were developed with the intent of providing a quality facility for Henry County youth to show their horses and ponies. The development of the grounds began in 1960 with the construction of a 150x300 outdoor show ring, a two-story wooden entry booth and some tie stalls.Additions since that time have included an indoor arena (1983), a 76-stall barn (1991), and the John Jordan Show arena, a 130x210 covered facility (1995). Our facility now offers 202 permanent stalls and the capacity for approximately 375 additional temporary stalls for larger shows. Other features now available include sprinkler systems for the show rings, multiple horse wash racks, a full menu concession stand, make-up arenas, a round pen, and restroom/shower facilities. Plenty of water and electric hook-ups are available are camping in a beautiful County park. The funds that are generated by the Henry County Saddle Club facility are primarily used for upkeep and improvements to the grounds. This attention to grounds maintenance and our spirit of volunteerism have made New Castle , Indiana one of the primary stops in the Midwest for showing your horse.
We want to thank all of our breed organizations for their past and present support of our show grounds. We believe we have a beautiful place to show your horse. As always, we are taking steps for improving our grounds and are looking forward to future plans.
